Sisters...

I love my sisters.  I wish we could see each other more.  Just hang out together.  I know I don't appreciate them as fully as I should or tell them I love them as often as I should.  Up until a couple years ago, Angie lived here in Pgh, just 15 minutes away.  We would have lunch together once a month, scheduled on the calendar, and often that was the only time we would see each other.  Why was that?  Now she lives in Louisiana (Go Saints!).  I never see her.  Can we ever get to a point in our lives where we fully appreciate life and take advantage of our blessings or is it human nature to take things for granted?  To my sisters, I love you both so much and miss you!!

Ears...

Poor Emmett.  He's had so many ear infections and now tubes.  He is obsessed with his ears.  For lunch, I gave him some meatloaf and then made Alex's sandwich.  When I sat down to give Emmett his yogurt, I realized that he had been packing the meatloaf into his ear!  Hope I got it all out.  Where's the appreciation in that???  Well, at least it was just one ear...

I stayed home with the kids on Friday.  Emmett has another cold.  Although he looks a bit sick in these photos, I couldn't help grab my camera when I saw him sitting in the Elmo chair watching Blue's Clues and drawing in his Handy Dandy Notebook!  Such a big boy!
